Color blocking is making it's way back into the fashion scene this year. This trend made a come back last year, but is now becoming really popular. I will show you how to rock this trend and own it. You can also follow my Pinterest board

How to color block
There are two ways to do color blocking. The first is by dividing the colors into warm and cool colors. Warm colors are yellows, reds and oranges. They tend to inspire a feeling of warmth when we look at them. Cool colors are the blues, greens, and violets. They have a more cooling effect. So in order to color block successfully, you pick a warm color and a cool color and rock them together. The second way is to rock three colors together, two warm colors and one cool, or two cool and one warm.
Here is an example
I paired a red (warm) dress with a pair of blue (cool) pumps and a yellow (warm) tote bag. I kept the accessories simple by adding a gold hoop earring. This whole outfit is only $99.50, less than $100!

Forever21.com Plus Size Fashions
One of my new favorite place to shop is forever21.com. Who would have knew? I remember feeling embarrassed to go in Forever 21 in the mall because I thought all of the skinny girls would look at me like, "What is she doing in here". But now they carry plus size clothes and accessories that are affordable and cute. They carry the plus size line in some of their stores around the country, just use the store locator to see if it's in a store near you. But for me, they don't carry it here, so I order online. They're sizes are pretty accurate. They are more like plus sizes than junior plus sizes like some places, but still be sure to check the size chart. Below are some of my favorite things. Enjoy!

Some plus size ladies don't have this problem but I do, so I like to find websites that have up to a size 10 or 11, or that carry wide width shoes, and that have affordable prices. And even though good plus size fashion is hard to find, there are some stores and websites out there that have some very fashionable and affordable plus size fashion. My goal is to keep you informed on about fashion trends and tell you where to get them for cheap. Follow me and we can go on this fashion journey together. Let's get started.
Torrid is one of my favorite stores to find trendy plus size fashion. They have stores, just check the store locator to see if there's one near you, and they have their online store, which is my preference because I feel like the online store has a better selection. Even though some of their items are expensive, they have amazing sales. Be sure to make an account and they will send you emails with their latest sales and coupons. Every so often they do this amazing sale where they take an extra 50% off of their clearance items. That's usually when I stock up. I add all the clearance items I love to my wish list then wait patiently for the email telling me that the 50% of clearance sale is back on then I pounce LOL.
A lot of their shoes and boots are made in wide width and made for a wider calf. Their jewelry is made for a bigger wrist, finger, and neck. Most bracelets are 8", some ring go up to size 11 and 12, and necklaces com in 18" and longer.
